Common Hot Tub Problems We Repair

Most calls fall into a handful of categories. Our technicians have seen all of them many times over and stock the most common parts on every service truck.

Hot Tub Won't Heat

The most common call. Could be a tripped high-limit switch, a failed heating element, a flow sensor reading no water movement, a circulation pump that has died, or a control board that has stopped sending power to the heater. We diagnose all five during the first visit. Most fixes take under 90 minutes. If your spa heater needs replacement, we usually carry the part.

Hot Tub Leaking Water

Spa leaks are the most expensive issue if left alone, because the water damages the cabinet, the wiring, and eventually the slab. We find leaks fast using pressure testing and dye tests. Most are in jet bodies, union fittings, the heater housing, or pump seals. See our dedicated hot tub leak repair page for more.

Hot Tub Won't Turn On

Usually a tripped GFCI breaker, a failed transformer on the control board, or a control panel that has gone bad. Sometimes it is wiring damage from rodents in the cabinet. We carry replacement transformers, common topside panels, and basic control boards on the truck. See our hot tub control board repair page for board-specific repairs.

Hot Tub Tripping the Breaker

A spa that trips the breaker is almost always a ground fault from a wet electrical component — most often the heater element has failed open or shorted, but it can also be a pump motor that has water in the windings, or a wire that has rodent damage. We diagnose with a meter, not guesswork. Repairs are usually a same-day fix.

Spa Pump Loud, Vibrating, or Not Running

Bearings, seals, and impellers wear out. A loud spa pump is usually 6 to 18 months from failure. We replace pump-end assemblies and full motor-pump combos. Most Inland Empire spas use Balboa, Gecko, Aqua-Flo, or Waterway pumps. We stock all four.

Brands We Service

We work on every major hot tub brand sold in the Inland Empire over the past 25 years. Most failed parts are interchangeable across brands once you know the chassis underneath.

Service Areas

Our service trucks cover the full Inland Empire. The areas we work most often:

We also cover Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Mira Loma, Rubidoux, Lake Elsinore, and surrounding cities. Just call.

How a Service Call Works

You call. We ask three questions: what brand, what symptom, what does the topside panel show. We arrive in a marked truck, drop the cover, run a diagnostic in 10 to 15 minutes, and quote the repair before we touch anything. If we have the part on the truck (we usually do), we fix it then. If we have to order something, we have it in 2 to 4 days. No teardown until you approve the price.

Most calls are billed flat-rate by repair, not hourly, so you know the number before we start.
