Hot Tub Removal & Disposal
Full breakdown, haul-away, and pad cleanup across the Inland Empire.
Call (951) XXX-XXXXIf your hot tub has reached the end of its life — multiple leaks, a cracked shell, a dead control board, or you just don't want it anymore — hot tub removal is the cleanest solution. We've removed hundreds of spas across Riverside, Corona, and Norco.
How Hot Tub Removal Works
Most spas are too heavy and too awkward to move intact — they typically weigh 600 to 1,200 pounds dry and don't fit through standard side gates or doorways. We break the spa down on-site:
- Drain the water (we run a hose to the street drain or your designated point)
- Disconnect from electrical and plumbing
- Remove the cover, the cabinet skirt, and the topside controls
- Cut the shell into 4 to 6 manageable pieces with a reciprocating saw
- Haul all pieces away in our trailer or truck
- Sweep and clean the pad so it's ready for whatever comes next
Total time on-site: 2 to 4 hours depending on size.
What It Costs
Most hot tub removal jobs in the Inland Empire run $400 to $1,200 depending on:
- Spa size (3-person spa vs 8-person swim spa)
- Access (driveway access easy, backyard with stairs harder)
- Disposal fees (some shells are easier to recycle than others)
- Disconnect complexity (hardwired 50A circuit vs simple 110V plug)
We quote on-site after looking at the spa. No teardown until you approve the price.
What If We Could Repair It Instead
Before you decide on removal, ask if it can be saved. Many spas that "don't work" have a single $400 to $800 repair (heater, pump, or board) that brings them back. Removing a $9,000 spa to save a $600 repair often makes no sense. We'll diagnose first if you want.
See our pages on general hot tub repair, leak repair, heater and pump replacement, and control board repair.
Disposal — Where the Spa Actually Goes
We take the broken-down spa to the appropriate disposal site. Acrylic shell pieces and fiberglass go to recycling where possible. Metal parts (pumps, heater, frame) get recycled. Wood cabinet pieces go to green waste. We don't dump in the desert and we don't leave anything in your alley.
